The Nursery

Sunflowers have a large unit for the under two's, consisting of three main rooms; each one is equipped for all aspects of play and development for this age range.

There is also a quiet room and separate changing facilities.

For Toddlers 2 - 2 ½ we have a large room, which has a messy play area, book corner, games area (for the big toys), home corner, and areas for structured group activities.

For Pre-School children we have three connecting rooms and the main hall, which can be used for group activities, there is a messy play area, a home corner, a book corner, library and role play area 

There is a dedicated computer suite whereby the children have ample opportunity to develop vital IT skills using a variety of educational software packages.

Both Toddlers and Pre-School have access to the quiet room, which is used for specific curriculum based activities such as, imaginative play, singing and circle time.

There is a large secure garden with trees that provide shade and a large block paved area so children can still play outdoors even if the weather is inclement!

 

The children are looking forward to the Chinese New Year, the children will be walking to the local Chinese restaurant so that the children may sample different chinese cuisine and see the celebrations.
